If you are moving into a new house and your switch to Lumo isn’t due to happen until later, don’t worry, you won’t be left without gas or electricity!

The existing supplier for the house will continue to supply it with gas and electricity, up to your switch date. They’ll send a letter to the property to let you know they are the supplier, you’ll then need to get in touch with them to confirm you have moved in.

If your switch to Lumo is due to happen before you have taken over responsibility for the property, we’ll need to cancel the switch. You can then start the switch again after you have moved in. You can request to cancel your switch to Lumo using this form.
